Who we are.
The Public Good is a social impact strategy studio that helps nonprofits, foundations, funders, civic leaders, and changemakers turn ambitious ideas into results.
We bring together strategy, communications, fundraising, research, policy, partnerships, and implementation — because meaningful change rarely happens through just one of them.
Barbara Raymond
FOUNDER
Barbara Raymond is a strategist, advisor, and educator who has spent her career helping good ideas become real change.
She works with leaders and organizations navigating complex questions about strategy, social impact, communications, philanthropy, and change — bringing together big-picture thinking with a practical understanding of how ideas actually move from aspiration to action.
Before founding The Public Good, Barbara was an executive at The California Endowment, where she led major philanthropic initiatives and helped build coalitions that influenced public policy, including a national movement to rethink school discipline that reached the White House.
Earlier, she was a researcher at RAND and led community policing and organizational change initiatives with the Seattle Police Department.
